A Little Bit About Me
I grew up right here in Burnsville, so being part of a clinic that serves this community feels especially meaningful to me.
My path before joining Refinery Skin Clinic wasn’t exactly traditional. I spent a little time in community college, but becoming a mom at a young age shifted my priorities in the best possible way. Life took me down a different road, one centered around family, resilience, and learning through real-world experience.
What drew me to aesthetics is something I still love deeply about this industry: helping busy people take time for themselves.
So many areas of life ask us to constantly give to everyone else. Aesthetic care can be one of those rare moments where someone gets to pause, focus on themselves, and invest in how they feel. I love being part of an environment where people arrive excited to be here, where the experience feels uplifting, positive, and personal rather than purely transactional.
That’s one of the many reasons I love Refinery. It’s professional, welcoming, and filled with people who genuinely care about you!

My Life Outside of Refinery Skin Clinic
Outside of Refinery, my world revolves around my family.
My husband, Jason, and I have been married for 20 years, and we have two daughters, Danielle and Rachel, who keep life exciting with their competitive dance schedules. Between competitions, travel, and full-on dance mom life, we spend a lot of time on the go.
And of course, there’s Mr. Berks, our adorable Morkie and very committed travel companion. He goes just about everywhere with us, including flights. Yes, he has officially received wings from Delta Airlines, which honestly feels very on-brand for him.
On the rare day I’m not working, traveling, or in full dance mom mode, you’ll likely find me at the sauna, treating myself to a DiamondGlow, or happily at home cleaning and organizing.
