Exceptional aesthetic care doesn’t happen through providers alone, and Brittany is a crucial part of what helps make the Refinery Skin Clinic experience feel seamless, safe, exceptionally well-coordinated, and fun!

As a Certified Medical Assistant, Brittany plays a key clinical support role across our practice, assisting with client care, procedure support, wellness programming, and behind-the-scenes operations that help everything run smoothly.

Her role includes:

• Supporting Rebecca Suess, NP, with Refinery’s medical weight loss program 
• Assisting our providers during aesthetic procedures and clinical treatments 
• Managing lab coordination and supporting wellness-related diagnostics 
• Helping maintain clinical efficiency, organization, and continuity of care 
• Supporting both clients and providers to ensure experiences feel smooth, comfortable, well-coordinated, and enjoyable

What I’m Known For & My Areas of Expertise

My role at Refinery centers around helping create a five-star clinical experience for our clients, whether that means supporting providers during procedures, assisting with medical weight loss care, coordinating lab work, or helping ensure every detail behind the scenes is handled thoughtfully and with a keen eye for detail.

I’m especially passionate about helping clients feel comfortable in a clinical setting. Whether someone is here for aesthetic care, wellness support, or trying something new for the first time, I want them to feel welcomed, informed, and genuinely cared for.

My background across multiple medical specialties has given me a strong foundation in client care, adaptability, and clinical support, which has made the transition into aesthetics an especially rewarding one.

A Little Bit About Me

I’m originally from Olympia, Washington, but made the move to Minnesota about ten years ago and have proudly called it home ever since.

I earned my Medical Assistant certification in 2010 and have spent my career working across a variety of medical specialties, building a broad clinical foundation along the way. While that experience gave me incredible perspective, I eventually found myself ready for a new chapter, one that combined clinical care with a more personalized, relationship-driven environment.

That’s what drew me to aesthetics!

I love that this field allows us to help people feel better not just physically, but emotionally too. Confidence, wellness, and self-care are deeply personal, and being part of an environment where clients feel supported, empowered, and genuinely excited to be here is so deeply rewarding.

At the end of the day, I care about helping clients feel good in their skin and confident in the care they’re receiving.

Whether I’m assisting behind the scenes, supporting a provider during treatment, or helping coordinate wellness care, my goal is always the same: to make sure the experience feels professional, safe, supportive, and personalized.

I believe trust matters tremendously in healthcare and aesthetics alike. People should never feel rushed, uncertain, or like just another appointment on the schedule.

I want every client interaction to feel welcoming, respectful, thoughtful, and enjoyable.

My Life Outside of Refinery Skin Clinic

Outside of work, I’m equal parts plant enthusiast, creative spirit, and homebody! I love gardening, collecting indoor plants (okay… maybe obsessing over indoor plants), reading, creating art, and treasure hunting through thrift stores.

I also have two dogs who are very much part of the family.

Fun fact: I also have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, which tends to surprise people!
